This is a season in which we must be sober-minded and vigilant because our enemy is prowling around like a lion, seeking whom he can devour. We need to be trained and serious about our authority in Christ, knowing how and when to use it (1 Peter 5:8).
We need to understand that the greatest danger in this time is being spiritually blinded by the god of this age (2 Corinthians 4:4). Therefore, we must keep our heads about us and vigilantly examine the garden of our hearts, minds, actions, and words to see what fruit is growing. If it is not Holy Spirit fruit, it must be obliterated immediately. We do not have time to tolerate bitter spiritual fruit in our lives, we can not feed a hungry people with bitter fruit. We must mature.
When the fruits of the Spirit are not evident in your life you know you are walking in some sort of bitterness and we have to understand how harmful this is. When we entertain bitterness, we cannot hear the Lord’s voice, and in this critical time, we need to hear Him more than ever before. We must listen to His warnings about what is coming and what to do about it. He sees the enemy’s plans to attack, and the Lord wants you to be on the offensive not defensive, standing firm, immovable, knowing your authority and walking in victory like never before, causing the enemy to flee from us like the defeated foe he is.
If we desire to bring in the abundant harvest and be among the few workers, we must be single-minded in our service and not listen to the voice around us that say, “Calm down; it’s not that serious. It’s a waste of energy and time, and all this hype won’t amount to anything.” That’s a lying spirit trying to come through people who don’t know that they have been blinded and the evil spirit, not the person, is trying to hinder you from overcoming and effectively shaming every tongue that rises against you, your family, and those you minister to (Isaiah 54:17).
Our current responsibility is to bring His kingdom and His will into our lives, families, bloodlines, neighborhoods, and the world, just as it is in heaven.
To accomplish this, we must partner with what heaven is saying, not with what hell, unleashed on earth, is saying. We need to become intimate friends with the Holy Spirit, seeking His guidance and inviting Him into every aspect of our lives, every single day, starting in the morning and continuing throughout the day.
We should be boldly asking Him to level every mountain and raise up every valley in our lives and the lives of those we love. This will be accomplished by an out pouring of His Spirit on all flesh and that is what we need to ask for. Not by power not by might but by the spirit of God”. We need to let the living water that flows from the throne room of God flood the earth through His people and His people nee to learn to ride the wave of the Holy Spirit and commune and partner with Him.
And lastly He is telling me about the days of Noah and the different kind of flood He is sending now. We need to remember that God promised never to destroy the world by flood again, but He also said that He would pour out His Spirit on all flesh in the end times (another kind of flood maybe?). Follow me here… if the trinity is one in 3 parts and Jesus is the living water then when He pours out His Spirit He is then pouring out the living water that is the redemption and cleansing afforded us by Jesus. So, what if we are living in the days of a different kinda flood. A redeemed flood where the world is covered not with natural water that brought death and judgment and destruction but this time with the Holy Spirit and living water that brings days of refreshing, life, and redemption offered by Jesus and the outpouring of Holy Spirit because of the Love of the Father? What if we are being set up to experience a spiritual second flood in the days to come?
If this is the case what if we ask Him to give us eyes to see all that He is doing and focus strictly on that and how to partner with Him We are in for some exciting times but that does not mean easy times… The mature pure spotless bide needs to rise up ready to minister and war!
What if we allow Him, moment by moment, to take us up higher to a bird’s-eye view where it all makes sense from God’s perspective, which He is sharing with us (Joel 2:28-29)?
