Warfare Prayer for Steadfastness
Prayer of Steadfastness, Repentance, Freedom, and Infilling
Praise to the Faithful One
Father, You are the God of heaven and earth; there is no God like You. I praise You for Your faithfulness throughout every generation. You never change, fail, or abandon Your people. You are mighty to save and trustworthy in suffering, waiting, persecution, uncertainty, and when I cannot see what You are doing. I trust you to open the eyes of my heart and the hearts of those I am praying for so that we can see you and keep our eyes on you.
Throughout this prayer, I bring before you You myself, my spouse, children, household, and bloodline; Sara and Nate Anderson; their children Ethan, Kira, Samuel, Isaac, and Tatum; Sara’s siblings and their children; and Sara’s household and bloodline and all of the intercessors you have assigned to each of us.
I acknowledge you as the God of endurance and encouragement and I ask that you would (Romans 15:5) establish Your steadfastness in each of us by the power of Your Holy Spirit not us trying harder but by you moving our hearts and souls to be able to receive Your steadfast love that endures through the generations. Jesus, You are the founder and perfecter of our faith and you are protecting each of us, let us respond to you. By your love and your supernatural presence strengthen us according to Your glorious might and bring about endurance and patience with joy in our hearts that all who look on us will see you shining in and through us.
(Colossians 1:11) (Hebrews 12:2)
Holy Spirit, search me and each of us and know our hearts. Reveal anything hindering steadfastness in our lives, bring hidden things into Your light by showing us the lies that we are believing about you, ourselves and others, and lead us into all truth, repentance, surrender, and freedom. (Psalm 139:23–24)
Today I declare that we will fix our eyes upon Jesus and that you will supernaturally empower us to do so!
Get us out of our own way oh Lord so that we can be renewed by Your grace.
Confession and Repentance
Father, I acknowledge that Your Word warns against unbelief, hardness of heart, double-mindedness, fear of man, worldly cares, bitterness, weariness, spiritual sluggishness, isolation, and shrinking back.
(Hebrews 3:7–12; James 1:6–8; Proverbs 29:25; Matthew 13:22; Hebrews 12:15; Galatians 6:9; Hebrews 10:24–25, 35–39)
I confess and repent for every way Sara or I and our families households and bloodlines have participated in or even embraced knowingly or unknowingly the following thing: unbelief, hardness of heart, rebellion, delayed obedience, double-mindedness, deception, fear of man, people-pleasing, greed, covetousness, idolatry, love of comfort, pleasure, money, or the world, offense, anger, bitterness, unforgiveness, grumbling, hopelessness, self-pity, weariness, passivity, prayerlessness, distraction, isolation, pride, lethargy, resistance to correction, resistance to instruction, compromise, cowardice, or shrinking back.
Lord these things are a form of personal torment and I know that unforgivness releases the tormentors onto our lives. So I first confess and repent for any person unforgivness I am harboring and I ask of you to lead me and Sara and our households and bloodlines and all the intercessors on this team into supernatural forgiveness and release. Empower us to forgive and surrender vengeance to You. Fill each of us with you grace and healing for the wounds. (Romans 12:19)
And we ask that you would forgive us wherever we have trusted circumstances more than Your Word, preferred comfort over obedience, feared people more than You, or allowed suffering, disappointment, or delay to weaken my faithfulness, our zeal and out love for You . Wash, cleanse, and restore each of us with your presence. I petition you Father that you would bring great times of refreshing for me and my family and for Sara, her household bloodline and this intercessory team.
Renunciation and Revoking Agreement
In the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce every personal agreement with these sins and silence every lying voice that I myself, mu household or bloodline or Sara and her household and bloodline has ever entertained that says You are not faithful, obedience is not worth the cost, circumstances are more trustworthy than Your Word, or relief is more valuable than faithfulness to Jesus.
Father, reveal every sinful family pattern that Sara and I our households and bloodlines and that of the intercessors have personally embraced, repeated, or agreed with that is being perpetuated with or without our awareness. While each person is accountable for his or her own sin. (Ezekiel 18:20) And I do not assume another person’s guilt, but I do humble myself and repent for and renounce our participation in anything contrary to Your will. I do not want this in my life or the lives of your people. I want us to be set apart for your glory.
Through repentance, forgiveness, and renunciation, I revoke every permission I have personally given through agreement with sin for demonic influence to operate in my life and I take up my authority in Christ Jesus.
Binding, Rebuking, and Forbidding Manifestation
Your Word identifies Satan as the deceiver and father of lies and calls us to resist him, firm in faith. (Revelation 12:9; John 8:44; 1 Peter 5:8–9)
Therefore, in the authority of Jesus Christ, I resist, bind, and rebuke every demonic influence exploiting sin, wounds, temptation, deception, or ungodly family patterns in our lives. Every permission connected to agreements I have confessed, repented of, and renounced is revoked.
I forbid every such demonic influence from manifesting for torment, oppression, fear, intimidation, confusion, affliction, retaliation, deception, distraction, or destruction. It may manifest only to be exposed and leave. I forbid it from hiding, strengthening, reproducing its fruit, retaliating, transferring, regrouping, or continuing its former operations in my life my family life or Sara and her household and bloodline or that of the intercessor team.
Jesus Christ alone is Lord over each of us and He is a shield around about us.
Father, concerning Sara, myself and the intercessors and their families and generations, I bind anything generational from continuing to operate against us insofar as You have given me biblical authority, and I place every person under Your perfect authority and cover them individually with your blood. I place your blood also over their eyes gates, ear gates, and mouth gate and Idecree that the enemy will pass over them and their house that is the body and your Hoy Temple. I release the King of glory onto and to flow through each of us.
Where I cannot make another person’s choices, I intercede and as that You open their eyes and bring darkness into the light. Expose every sinful pattern, lie, agreement, stronghold, demonic operation, and fruit that needs recognition and make each of us to hate what You hate and to love what You love. (Ephesians 5:13) Help each of us and our households and bloodlines to recognize evil without becoming preoccupied with darkness and to wholeheartedly reject what is evil, and cling to what is good. Give us a revolution for the things of this world and of the enemy that we even once craved. Bring TRUE repentance and the Spirit of The Fear of the Lord! (Matthew 7:16–20; Romans 12:9)
Grant genuine heart level repentance leading to the deep knowledge of truth, that each of us can may come to our senses and escape the devil’s snare. (2 Timothy 2:25–26; 2 Corinthians 7:10) Holy Spirit, convict each of us concerning sin and lead us into all truth. (John 16:8, 13)
Where there is: unbelief, establish faith; rebellion, surrender; deception, truth; bitterness, forgiveness; fear, courage; idolatry, devotion to Jesus; passivity, obedience; compromise, holiness; and bondage, freedom.
For Sara and I and these intercessors let every generational pattern contrary to Your will lose its influence as each person comes into truth, repentance, forgiveness, obedience, and submission to Jesus.
May what has been repeated for generations not be repeated in the next generation. Bring it to a full stop Lord. Snach each one from the snare of the enemy.
Infilling of the Holy Spirit
Holy Spirit, fill every person and place that I have brought before you today. (Ephesians 5:18)
Fill our families and generations our minds, hearts, wills, emotions, imaginations, marriages, relationships, and homes with your Holy Presence. Let us Bask in your glory. Cause each one of us to walk by the Holy Spirit and His fruits of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. (Galatians 5:16, 22–23)
I ask you to make these divine transitions in our lives. Where unbelief operated, establish faith; fear, courage; instability, steadfastness; bitterness, forgiveness and love; hopelessness, hope; weariness, endurance; deception, truth; passivity, holy zeal; and double-mindedness, wholehearted devotion to Jesus.
Glory, Presence, and Steadfastness
Father, as the mountains surround Jerusalem, surround us and our families. Be a wall of fire around us and the glory in our midst. I call on You High King of Heaven that you would call down fire on ever familiar spirit that has followed us and our families and households. Incinerate them Elohim. (Psalm 125:2; Zechariah 2:5)
Let each of us and our homes honor Jesus, welcome the Holy Spirit, love truth, pursue righteousness, and recognize and treasure Your presence.
I decree faith, steadfastness, mental emotional and spiritual stability, and supernatural endurance over our families and generations. Cause us to walk by faith and not by sight, becoming mature, complete, steadfast, and immovable lacking nothing. (2 Corinthians 5:7; James 1:4; 1 Corinthians 15:58)
Let suffering produce endurance, endurance character, and character hope. Strengthen us with endurance, patience, and joy. Keep our minds stayed upon You in perfect peace and renew our strength so we run without weariness and walk without fainting. (Isaiah 26:3; 40:31)
(Romans 5:3–5; Colossians 1:11)
Make us fruitful. Let us receive Your Word, hold it fast, and with endurance bear fruit in keeping with repentance, and reap a true tangible harvest in due season without giving up. Give us faith and patience in the space between promise and fulfillment. (Luke 8:15; Galatians 6:9; Hebrews 6:12)
God of all grace, restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish us. (1 Peter 5:10) I declare the truth that “Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial.” (James 1:12) Make me and Sara and our households and that of the intercessors steadfast under ever trial and spiritual pressure. Cause each of our hearts to love Jesus more than relief and remain faithful under testing.
Make Us Finishers
Father, by Your sustaining grace, may the testimony over these intercessors, Sara and I our households and bloodlines lives be:
We fought the good fight.
We finished the race.
We kept the faith. (2 Timothy 4:7)
By Your Spirit cause us to run with endurance, fixing our eyes upon Jesus. Keep us from shrinking back, discarding our confidence, or growing weary in doing good. Let us hold fast our hope without wavering because He who promised is faithful. Engrave this on the tablet of our hearts (Hebrews 12:1–2; 10:23)
In the place of destructive patterns that have traveled through generations, establish an inheritance of faith, truth, righteousness, holiness, forgiveness, obedience, steadfastness, courage, hope, joy, peace, spiritual fruitfulness, and wholehearted devotion to Jesus.
May our eyes remain upon Jesus, our hearts faithful to Jesus, our marriages honor Jesus, our homes and land belong to Jesus, and our children and generations know and follow Jesus.
Christ You endured. You overcame. You are faithful and worthy.
Jesus Christ is Lord over our lives, households, families, and generations.
May You receive all the glory.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ,
Amen.
